Came to Beau Jo's on a date night after quickly learning that most restaurants in old town require a reservation or a two hour wait. Beau Jo's had only a 30 minute wait so we said why not? We went for a walk while we waited and were texted when our table was ready. The restaurant is actually quite large and great for a night out with friends. After being seated, it was a bit for our server to come to our table. We ordered drinks and an appetizer right away and they came out shortly afterwards. Our server explained the differences in the crusts for the pizzas and what she recommended. She then said shed come back and disappeared for a while before we ordered our pizza. I'm glad we ordered an appetizer as the pizza also took a long time to come out. For our appetizer we ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they were pretty tasty, but definitely needed parmesan cheese. The pizza we chose was the Lil' Italy with salami. This was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it! They are a bit pricey, but overall very tasty and worth it. Will definitely come back!
The staff was very kind and welcoming to our large party of 40+ (we called ahead), which saves me from rating it any lower. Sausage Combo - 6/10 Not enough sauce for me, or cheese. It has a great amount of toppings, but the sauce and cheese are lacking and they're the foundation for the entire pizza. Very sweet and pillowy crust, I enjoyed it. Pepperoni Pizza - 7/10 Nice and salty, great amount of cheese but still need more sauce. I would recommend despite the lack of sauce. The crust was just as pillowy but not sweet at all.

We had a 10-15 minute wait, and the wait was well worth it. I ordered the 1 lb Motherlode and could not finish it all, that I had to take it to-go. The next day, popped it in the air fryer and it was as crispy as ever. I highly recommend this joint to anyone craving pizza!
